Social Care jobs offer variety and flexibility and no two days are ever the same. Some of the tasks that you may undertake will include:

• Helping to prepare food
• Arranging and participating in leisure activities and events
• Supporting on day trips and holidays
• Developing independence skills, enabling people to take as much control over their lives as possible
• Supporting with daily living tasks such as shopping, budgeting and domestic tasks
• Care planning, report writing, attending reviews and meetings
• Administering medication
• Supporting with personal care
• Working alongside professionals and families
