GTA Social Care exists to bring together Social Care employers and existing or potential employees with providers of outstanding training.

An investment in quality made now is a quality outcome for people who use services in the future.

We understand the increasing demand for social care services and the monumental change and growth which lies ahead for the sector. It is with this understanding that we aim to support services to future proof their organisations and in turn equip the social care workforces of the future with the skills and competencies they need to meet and exceed this challenge.

The main outcome is that people who use services are supported by a high quality and trained workforce.

One of the ways which we will do this is though promoting the apprenticeship framework as a viable and long term investment and solution to workforce development.

GTA Social Care recognises the National Skills Academy for Social Care's Endorsement framework as the national benchmark for quality training within the Social Care sector. Employers will be matched only with training providers who have achieved this recognition and learners can be assured that they will gain an apprenticeship and training of the highest standard.
