GTA Social Care has been established to deliver outstanding training for the sector by the sector. It exists to supply the sector with a fresh, committed, well trained and learning workforce. We do this in partnership with people who use services, employers, the National Skills Academy for Social Care and our expert training partners:
- By engaging locally and nationally with social care employers and staff to identify their individual and specific training needs. We then work together to ensure the best quality, cost effective and suitable delivery method for your organisation.
- By working together we make sure that your training plan achieves results and outcomes that impact directly upon your service.
- By thinking smart, we want to support services that provide social care with all of their training and development needs, carrying out a full analysis of your workforce and planning to meet all of your training and qualification requirements through recognised and excellence endorsed providers.
- By aiming to increase the number of apprenticeships within social care, we are working hard to promote the benefits of this route into employment with employers, young people and those seeking work. As well as raising the profile of social care as a lifelong career choice with excellent career development opportunities.
